Homemade Weed Spray (Non-toxic)

I can't take credit for this recipe. However, I've seen it posted on so many different sites that I don't feel bad about stealing and reposting.

(Sorry... I know the hose in the picture is annoying and distracting, but I had to set up a temporary sprinkler for some freshly planted bulbs. I could have moved it for the picture, but I'm not a fan of doing work just so I can re-do it when I'm done)
This spray didn't totally eradicate the plant growth. However, if you're planning on spot treating weeds in the middle of your lawn, this may be a good choice for you. Unfortunately, it looks like I'll still have to pull the remaining grass by hand.

I liked this recipe because it was cheap, easy to make, easy to use and reasonably effective.
Plus, it means I get to avoid adding chemicals to my environment.

I used the following recipe except I used an all-natural dish soap instead of Dawn. I don;t have any problem with Dawn, I just didn't happen to have any and went with what I had under my sink.

If anyone makes this with Dawn and has better/different results, please let me know!

(This photo was reposted from Facebook, but there wasn't a link to the original.
Therefore, I wasn't able to give proper credit. Sorry)
